Tracy Spiridakos

Tracy Spiridakos (Canadian actress) is Tracy Spiridakos. She was the Teletoon child's comedy series Majority Rules' Becky Richards. From 2009 to 2010. She was then on the show as Charlotte "Charlie" Matheson in the NBC post-apocalyptic science fiction series Revolution from 2012 to 2014, for which she received from 2009-2010 for a Saturn Award for Best Actress on TV. Annika Johnson played Annika on the A&E television series Bates Motel. Spiridakos has starred in the NBC drama Chicago P.D. since 2017. as Detective Hailey Upton, Spiridakos is the lead character. Spiridakos was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, to Greek-born parents, and restaurant proprietors George and Anastasia Spiridakos She has two brothers. The family moved to Skala in Greece in the south of Sparta just after her birth. In 1992 they came back to Canada. Spiridakos is very proud of her Greek family and speaks fluent Greek. Spiridakos started acting in junior high school, and later was a student at the Actors Training Centre of Manitoba. In 2000, she graduated from Oak Park High School. Spiridakos moved to Vancouver in 2007 to pursue acting. She landed her first TV job within a matter of weeks, a minor role in Supernatural. She continued her television work as a walk-on in Bionic Woman's The L Word, Hellcats, Psych and other shows. Spiridakos was in the TV movie Goblin and also in the web series Mortal Kombat: Legacy. She was also a regular on Being Human, as Brynn McLean was the werewolf. In 2009, the actress got her first lead role in Majority Rules! Canada, in which she played 15-year-old Becky Richards. In 2011 she made her feature film debut with Rise of the Planet of the Apes. She also filmed Kill for Me, a low-budget horror film by Michael Greenspan. The film starred Donal Logue, Katie Cassidy and directed by Michael Greenspan. Spiridakos appeared as Sammi in the 2012 Nickelodeon original film, Rags. The role of Charlotte Matheson as a survivalist living in a dystopian civilization, was her main character on the NBC television show Revolution. She auditioned while watching her pilot in Los Angeles. Spiridakos recorded the pilot in Atlanta and the initial season in Wilmington. Her performance in the first season of the show nominated for the Saturn Award as Best Actress on television. She was, however, a loser to Fringe's Anna Torv. The second season was recorded in Austin, Texas.
