Kari Matchett Biography

Kari Matchett is an actress from Canada. She is most well-known for her roles as Kari in films such as "Apartment Hunting", "Men with Brooms" and "The Tree of Life." She was born and raised in Spalding Saskatchewan. After high school, she relocated to Alberta. In her teens she began to become attracted to acting. She attended the National Theatre School' in Montreal. Later, she went to the Moscow Theatre School. In 1996, she made her television debut as a character in the Canadian show 'The Rez. In the same year, she appeared in series' such as 'Forever Knight' and 'Ready or Not.' In the late 1990s, she made her film debut in the form of the film "Papertrail" and later appeared in films such as "Men with Brooms" and "Cypher." In addition, she was a supporting character in television series' like 'A Nero Wolfe Mystery' and  Blue Murder.' Even though she was still acting in films throughout the decade of 2000 and beyond however, her screen appearances were not as prominent as her TV appearances. In 1998 she was the lead character of 'Colleen blessed' in the Canadian drama series 'Power Play. The series ran 2 seasons and 26 episodes and received high commercial and critical praise. She was nominated in the 'Gemini Award for her performance in the series. Jude Lyon Matchett became her first child in June 2013. She did not reveal the name of her father or her son. According to some reports,, her ex-boyfriend is the father. Kari Matchett met T.W. Peacocke and T.W. Peacocke. They began dating in the mid-1990s. The couple was married in 1998. However, the marriage was not long-lasting and the couple divorced in 2006.

Magda Apanowicz (pronounced NOH-vitch) is an Canadian actress from Canada. Her most well-known roles include her roles as Andy Jensen on the ABC Family series Kyle XY, as Lacy Rand in the short-lived Syfy science fiction drama series Caprica and as Emily (born Maya Hartwell) in the science-fiction series Continuum. She was also a character in the Netflix thriller series You as Sandy. Apanowicz is Polish and lived in Poland for a year during her ninth grade.
